Tribal Earth 2009

tribal-earth-2009-flyer

This is a DL double sided flyer I designed for the Tribal Earth Festival the second year I ran it. Designed to fit in dispensers, tribal members took these and distributed them at festival around the country. Tribal Earth is a laid back festie with a daytime workshop programme and evening world music. I also designed and run the website. The whole festival is run by volunteers and profits go to the Pegasus Project helping Nepalese street children.

Cafe Culture

cafe culture products brochure

This is the inside spread of an A4 folded to A5 product Brochure. I chose to go down the graphic novel layout route partly as this is a good format for the internet generation/low attention span types and for just plain old busy people. Also because Cafe Culture deal with business owners in the high street food/cafe/coffee business where english isn’t their first language this may be an easier way to communicate what’s on offer in a quick and precise way. Plus it’s a lot less boring to look at than a regular catalogue.brochure. Designed using Adobe InDesign.

Hadrian’s Wall Book

English Heritage Hadrians Wall book

This is a book I designed to English Heritage Academic Publications. It’s about 350 pages explaining the discoveries of excavations all along Hadrian’s Wall. EH are obliged to make public their findings and this is how they do it. From the beginning of works to getting in materials for publication can be 10s of years but I’ve got to do it quick! No problem once I get my head stuck into a job like this I just go at it like a Rottweiler until it’s done, then lie down for a bit!  This one was put together in Quark after I have assessed all the images (100s of them) in Photoshop for reproduction suitability.
