As much as I love coffee its all over complicated ordering one (I just do black, no sugar, no extra flavorings (WTF!)) so I am biased. The baristas talk too quick and if you don’t know their ways you have to repeat yourself. It just annoys me… grrrrr! There are always exceptions tho.

Happy New Year folks.

Well 2012 is here and according to sunspot observations, the fact the Mayan calendar runs out (how long should they have kept it up?) and Nostradamus, we are all doomed!!!! He actually predicted the end of the world AS WE KNOW IT. Well if the solar flares knock out the world’s ability to make electricity that would be the end of the world as we know it… interesting. Farrbott thinks ‘no electric = no coffee shops – shoot me now!’

Last summer this was soooo me, except I wasn’t shooting coffee at them, just refining my culling skills with a rolled up newspaper. Just to be clear for the kiddies out there, you should never caffeinate a fly, they go out of control and could take your eye out!

The first frame above shows a couple of the many doodles I submitted for consideration that I particularly liked. The second frame is the final logo, which I am very happy with, came out well. Kind of a C3PO thing here, if you know your Star Wars you will understand the reference. It came about because I keep getting the email that – allegedly – some women that wear burkas wear not much under them, and the pieces fell together for this cartoon.
